Facebook Refugee

I am 3 hours away from deleting my account on Facebook. Certainly the main reason is because Mark Zuckerburg and Facebook refuse to remove Holocaust Denials and ban users who post content denying the Holocaust (I find that not supporting companies that have profited from the death of my relatives is a good base-line for protest. Take that, Bayer Pharma.) Additionally, I have found very little joy when I log on to Facebook. Please, if we are Facebook Friends do not take offense to that; you are great. My feed is littered with listicles and click-bait and sponsored content and I have ADHD and it's really hard for me to ignore stuff like that. So I click, and I read, and my blood pressure goes up or my time slips away from me and the house is still a mess and I have to go to work, like, NOW.

The only real downside I see to deleting my account is that I have grown used to sharing my life at the push of a button. So, I am going to try to start this blog to share pictures and brief anecdotes about what's going in in the Sweeney House.

I hope you check back in on our adventures. If you want to see this continue, please comment or I will assume that no one is looking at this and I will stop.

Best Wishes,
Dave
